• Until you accept analytics cookies, loading a page of the Website sets no cookies and loads nothing from any other company.
• Google Analytics is loaded only if you accept analytics cookies. Rejecting them does not affect how the Website works.
• Submitting the contact form loads Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that the form is being sent by a person.
• The Website uses no advertising cookies and no social media cookies.
• You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings at the foot of each page.

This cookie policy explains how VulnXperts Consultancy W.L.L. (“VulnXperts”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on the website at vikax.app (the “Website”). It should be read together with our privacy policy, which explains how we process personal data.

In this policy, “cookies” refers to cookies and similar technologies such as local storage, unless we state otherwise.

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Your browser sends it back to the website with later requests, which allows the website to recognise your browser.

Local storage is a similar facility in your browser. The code of a website can read what that website has stored, but your browser does not send it to the server.

First-party cookies are set on the domain of the website you are visiting. Third-party cookies are set on another domain, such as that of a service provider whose content the website loads. Some cookies expire when you close your browser, and others remain until a set date or until you delete them.

Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before we store or read any cookie or similar technology that is not strictly necessary. The same rule applies to cookies and to local storage.

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

• remember your choice about analytics cookies;
• protect the contact form against spam and abuse;
• measure how the Website is used, for example which pages are visited, if you accept analytics cookies; and
• remember a display option on two internal review pages.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and the Website sets no social media cookies.

• Strictly necessary. These are required to remember your cookie choice, or to protect a form that you choose to submit. They do not require your consent, and they cannot be switched off through the banner. We use strictly necessary cookies.
• Analytics. These help us understand how visitors use the Website, for example which pages are visited. We use analytics cookies only after you accept them.
• Functional. These remember choices you make, such as a display option. We use one functional item, and only on two internal review pages when you use that option.
• Advertising. These are used to show advertising and to measure its effectiveness, often across different websites. We do not use advertising cookies.

The demo scheduler stores nothing in your browser. The fonts are served from vikax.app, so loading a page sends no request to a font provider.

Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA are provided by Google. Google's page on how Google uses information from sites that use its services explains how Google uses the information it receives. Our privacy policy explains what we do with that information.

Loading reCAPTCHA from google.com also allows Google to read and set the cookies that it keeps for google.com, in accordance with Google's own cookie policy. We do not control those cookies.

When you first visit the Website, a banner headed “Cookies on Vikax” asks whether you accept analytics cookies. It offers Accept and Reject as buttons of equal prominence, side by side, and each takes one click. The banner is shown on each page until you make a choice. If you make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookie is set.

Cookie settings is at the foot of every page. It reopens the banner, shows your current choice and allows you to change it at any time, so that withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it. If you reject analytics cookies after accepting them, we stop Google Analytics on the page you are viewing and delete the analytics cookies it set on vikax.app.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics cookies and do not show the banner. You can still accept analytics cookies through Cookie settings.

Your choice is stored in the browser you are using, so you need to make it separately on each browser and device.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. If you clear the cookies and site data for vikax.app, your choice and any analytics cookies are deleted, and the banner asks you again when you next load a page. If you block cookies for vikax.app, the Website continues to work.

If you block Google's cookies, the reCAPTCHA check may reject the contact form. In that case, you can write to us at hello@vikax.app instead.

Google also offers a browser add-on that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data on any website.

Whenever the Website changes what it stores in your browser, we update this policy, including the table above, and the date at the top of this page. If a change requires your consent again, the banner asks you for a new choice.
